g commonwealth, it brought a whole new joy to pipe smoking. It's very well behaved, produces predictable results, can be relit repeatedly, smoked hard or light without losing its voluminous texture and great taste. It smells like wood smoke, which I personally love. Like a hickory note almost. The flavour is sweet, spicy and buttery smooth. This is a tobacco that works well for those who frequently pocket a lit pipe, as I used to do. The smell is not identifiable by most as tobacco, which allowed me to get away with pocketing the pipe, walking through a building, pulling it back out and continuing to smoke without a relight.
If this is ever in stock again, I'm buying as much as they'll let me. Price is no object, this is THE tobacco I want to die smoking haha Read Less

我没有能在sp上买到这款草，但是我通过别的渠道买到过好几次了。共和国有着饱满的拉塔基的烟气，浓郁的口感。对口腔和鼻腔有着极为强劲的冲击力。对于早已习惯拉塔基烧胶皮味道的人来说，这种感觉是美妙的。

Latakia bomb!

This is a latakia bomb. It is almost like smoking a cedar tree. It comes wet, so let it dry a little. This is an excellent tobacco to smoke on a rainy or cold fall day. It is very peppery and smoky.

blends come really really wet, but this particular tin, I did not check it properly during purchase as I bought a couple of other blends and the seal was compromised. So I got dry tobacco and saved me drying time.
Will I recommend?: Yes, ONLY if you are a Latakia lover. Yes, if you like strong blends and you don't mind more Latakia than Squadron Leader. If you are a beginner, try Squadron Leader 1st. Latakia haters, i don't think I need to elaborate any further.
Nicotine Level: Anyone who used to smoke cigarette will be able to tolerate this.
Additional Notes: This cannot be a daily smoke for me. If I take 3 or more bowls of this per day, my nostril will hurt. However it's good to have it around whenever you feel like having a knockout smoke. Read Less

ying to be. I know what Squadron Leader, Skiff Mixture, Best Brown, Grousemoore etc etc are. I have tasted what the blend was meant to be. This one, though, I just never could. While it's very wet out of the tin, once allowed to dry a bit, it's as good an English as there is. My prefered drying method is to open a tin, allow it to dry completely and mix with a fresh tin and jar it.
