For latakia lovers, there's no going wrong with this blend. It really does have that English breakfast aroma, like smoky fried bacon, with spicy and floral notes.

This has a taste of something I can't identify, but it sucks. Similar to the heavily topped Director"s Cut. Smells like Latakia in the jar, but you can'taste it.

Second tin of Hu in the trash can. Only Janneman Flake left. I hope I can go 1 for 3 or it will be $80 wasted on some highly touted garbage....Read More

What a fine morning blend and goes well with coffee. The Ltakia is present however, not overwhelming. The orientals add a wonderful citrus hint. A beautiful ribbon cut, packs easily. It in ways has a early morning pipe vibe but on the naturally sweeter side, I assume due to the black Cavendish. Early morning has been my favorite and morning smoke for years now so this is a nice one if I do want something different but not far away from emp. Room note is beautiful

While I do like the flavor, I can't quite get this blend to work for me. Unlike other reviewers have stated, this one bites my tongue pretty hard no matter how slowly and gently I smoke, even using the breathe method. I was hoping for a good blend to start the day as the title implies, but after trying this in multiple pipes with varying degrees of moisture (from straight out of the tin to bone dry) I won't be ordering more....Read More
