I don't buy ANYTHING from STG ever since they discontinued the HH product. As far as I'm concerned, they no longer exist.

ance and bought a few tins that were sold as having 3-5 years of age. Holy smokes, what a difference! As some other reviewers have commented, this is not your typical English blend. My palate picks up the burley most, then a sliver of latakia, and the Virginia very rarely. I am surprised they even bother with listing the orientals.
This is not a complex blend, but it needs age for it to mellow out if that makes sense. Definitely buying some tins and setting on the shelf, this is a cellar’s choice....Read More

Smooth smoke a little like lead

Very smooth smoke, doesn’t numb the tongue. It has a slight taste and smell of #2 lead pencil but you will get past it! My package ordered May 2025 was packed July 2024 so inventory appears to be old. Reasonably fresh though and smokes ok
