About This Pipe Tobacco
When Dunhill announced it would no longer be producing tobacco, pipe smokers rued the loss of some of their favorite mixtures. Thanks to Peterson, however, those beloved blends are still available. They're the same recipes and feature the same tin art as Dunhill's, just re-branded for Peterson.
Flake is a medium-strength flake of selected grades of Lemon and Bronze Virginias. It was one of Dunhill's most expert blends, now offered here from Peterson.

I always smoke this on St. Patrick's Day. It always remind me of biscuits with just a slight touch of a grassy note!

ren, not available in my town ... BUT it is actually an OK tobacco. I can taste hay and sweet citrus quite a lot.
My conclusion : not real complain, it did exactly what I wanted too, smoking easely to prepare my new pipes to new virginia and giving me some time to learn slow smoking because if you smoke it to fast, it becomes really bitter.
However, since I tried Union Square, I am sure that I will not buy Peterson Flake again....Read More

Great Virginia flake

My favorite pure Virginia flake. I just love the presentation of this one. The aroma, the color, the thickness and texture of the flake are all so appetizing. Keep a few tins around trying to let them get old before I smoke em.
