I think this is an excellent Virginia blend to keep around. I find this especially good when I want a straight forward Virginia smoke during the week day. I’ve also found it great for mixing.

ancé does not like the room note on this one at all it’s definitely got a more cigarette smell even though I do feel the room note has changed in a good way as well over time. However taste wise I get honey, lemon, green tea, grass, and dark fruits after a good retrohale. Highly recommend and will be getting some to age in the future....Read More

slow to get the nuances and even a nice room note, also I want to advice the use of a bent billiard or brandy if you only like Straigth pipes consider a Churchwarden. also for me packing using the Frank method seems to get the best results, the 3 pinch method tends to overheat no matter what (maybe cellaring 2 years at least could improve this)
