I think this is an excellent Virginia blend to keep around. I find this especially good when I want a straight forward Virginia smoke during the week day. I’ve also found it great for mixing.

This pipe tobacco is very affordable, with a sweet and fresh taste that doesn’t bite the tongue. It’s relatively mild, burns at a low temperature, and produces fine ash. I plan to buy more and store them to see if aging will make it even better over time.

ek is much better, but not outstanding. Previously it would have gotten maybe 1.5 stars. The jar note is of fresh cut hay and the smoke is light and citrusy with toasty notes on the retro. It needs some time to age and would probably make a good blender. Nicotine is pretty mild. I could see myself puffing on this while mowing this summer.
