I’ve been comparing this for several weeks to Orlik Golden Sliced in both cobs and briars. Sort of like comparing Bach and Mozart…a no lose situation. I find the Stokebye a little richer and the Orlik a little smoother, but both stay in my rotation.

ft honeyed sweetness. The Perique adds a touch of dark fruit and pepper, while the Cavendish center rounds everything out and gives the smoke a little extra softness and richness.
What I enjoy most is how balanced the blend feels. It has enough complexity to stay interesting, but it never becomes demanding. The flavors work together naturally, and the coin presentation makes it enjoyable to prepare as well as smoke.

Affordable unique blend

I like this first off due to price. I bought a single ounce to try and it is pretty good. The tangy plum notes are present along with some notes of chocolate here and there. It is a little more moist than I prefer. It could use more drying time. I will buy again.
