Bought this just to try it out and it’s a pleasant smoke with good flavor and aroma. No bad characteristics but nothing remarkable either. I’m still working on my first tin. Smoking a MM General cob with fresh filter.

Classic style in a new blend

This tobacco has a nostalgic appeal.
For my nose the tin note is caramel, vanilla, with a hint of liquor topping, some nut and bready hay. Once lit the top notes are there, but they diminish to share the stage with the base tobacco. They offer up some sour dough bread notes, wood, and nut from the leaf that compliments the topping very well.
I'm not detecting the fruit notes others have mentioned online, and I'm ok with that. I like it very much for the notes my palate does pick up on. Of course, I may pick them up in time, and that would be fine as well.
The tin note strength is deceptive for my nose. I thought the topping would sublimate the leaf more than it does. This isn't a complaint, but a mere observation.
This blend will likely have a strong following, and rightfully so.
