h raisins and fig... The moisture level was perfect, no drying time needed before packing my pipe. The flakes are broken but not too broken, and folds nicely before packing. Could not detect grassy/hay until 1/3, but oh the smell of baked goods consumed my porch. This is a wonderful blend for springtime and summer nights. However, I'd smoke this year round. The Red Hunt is Luxury Twist Flakes' sophisticated cousin that should become more complex with age. Well done Kyle and Jeremy! Red velvet cake of pipe tobacco

Simply amazing. Its velvety smooth with hints of sweetness. The tin has notes of plum and cocoa, while the room note is somewhat autumnal. Flavor is soft but complex. I anticipate coming back to this often. A simply luxurious blend.

stly taste is a soft boozey aromatic and then some hay, followed by a robust mustiness! Other times I get the spice and must amongst the aromatic flavors, and then the oriental just with the hay! There is quite a lot going on here. I'm not an aromatic smoker so I was a bit suspect with the initial aro flavors but I have to say I keep coming back—they tend to compliment more than mask the high quality tobacco flavor. Looking at the ingredients I thought it might be somewhat like Regent’s Flake, but it's not as robust. It's much sweeter and more nuanced in it's flavor profile. Needs very little drying time, no bite, and can absolutely be an all day smoke. It will certainly keep your attention, I highly recommend it. Read Less

Incredible tin note, has a sweet smell. Took me a little while to get it going but half way in it became quite nice and a background of sweetness coupled with spice.
Great for ageing!

Ordered when it was first released,and got one to test and one to rest. The top note is delicious without overshadowing the tobacco. No bite & I like to push blends. Definitely earned a spot in my rotation!

Just opened a tin of this extraordinary blend. It nothing short of fantastic. It is complex, intriguing and good all the way to the last puff which disappears into white ash.

Was hoping this tobacco would showcase the virginia underlayed with the Turkish, but I found both are a bit over powered by some kind of flavoring. Should be much better with age

Just get it! I'm fixing to order 4 tins after I had a friend pack me a bowl at a social gathering.... love the way the flavor n spices seem to change through the bowl.
