About This Pipe
Chinese artisan Lv Zelong's fascination with pipes began in 2009, when he took up pipe smoking as a hobby. Danish influences can be seen in Zelong's work, which, combined with his own artistic vision, creates a unique and organic style. As a craftsman, he pays particular attention to his staining and drilling, prioritizing stunning aesthetics alongside reliable smoking performance and comfort.
A handsome take on the ever-beloved shape, this Poker is an alluring display of Zelong's craftsmanship. Measuring just over four and a half inches long, it carries near Nosewarmer proportions, with a compact profile that makes the most of its small stature. The bowl sits with a slight forward cant, yet retains the stoic, strong-walled character that defines the Poker shape. A short briar shank transitions into a flared accent of genuine horn, whose creamy coloring and natural striations add warmth and contrast to the overall palette. The stummel is sandblasted and stained in a dark hue, while the rim and heel are finished smooth in a lighter tone, bringing the contrasting finishes together in a thoughtful presentation.
