About This Pipe
Founded in 1947 by Carlo Scotti, the brand Castello stands out as one of the first Italian pipe makers to break away from conventional English and French shaping standards. All of their pipes are individually hand‑shaped by a small, dedicated team of artisans who insist on excellence in both form and function.
This bent Dublin sits on the more reserved side of the Italian workshop's portfolio, featuring a sleek shank-and-stem arrangement paired to a flared bowl. As expected from a Castello, the grain on this piece is phenomenal, with tendrils of cross grain along the aft side of the bowl and a section of birdseye across the fore wall, all dressed in the warm stain of the Collection finish.
