I purchsed this and was happy. Then I tried the turkish cut of the Cornell Diehl and decied i got it right the first time. I will be sticking with the Virginia Gentleman bulk variety.

M Missouri Pride was used to sample this blend.
Upfront - it’s got a solid “pop” to it. You can “feel” this one. It’s kinda “cigarette”-ish in flavor to me from the start. That’s not a complaint per se - just what it makes me think of. It is warm and touches in sweet but the life saving factor here is the orientals keep it from blandness and offer a little spice.
Second bowl and it seems more and more like an upscale RYO blend. Framed like that it’s almost something I have attempted to capture , mixing Gambler Turkish, Ohm Bold and a little Five Brothers. This isn’t a “show stopper” but I think it’s a solid “smoker’s” blend.
Third bowl and I’m pretty much decided I’ll take what’s left and toss in my tote of RYO stuff.
Look - the flavors are honest tobacco - and clean. I’d say it’s almost Camel Select like - but that’s not what I want in a pipe blend.
