That Make Black Twist a Staple! I’ve always smoked it straight but recently started using it in my blending projects using a press to make “Cakes”. It brings that Gawith Joo-joo to other more basic blending components. 5 stars!

This is like a very nice steak dinner. I encourage you to smoke this after or even before dinner. After or with a cup of dark roast coffee. It pairs nicely for an evening of relaxation.

A very unique and unusual experience for me. I get the flavors of charbroiled beef, dark incense, wood, and some light floral essence. It smokes slow and cool and doesn't bite. It's not unpleasant at all, just different from the Virginia's, Latakia's and Burleys I'm used to. Nicotine strength is around medium. Room note isn't great. Worth a try!...Read More

Velvet smoke, charred sugar, bitter chocolate and caramel, for me the sweetness over-rides the strength. Compared to a bowl of straight Perique this is medium in strength and full of flavor. More char and smokiness than a stoved Virginia, yet still pleasant sweet complex flavors. Fantastic straight and should make a great mixing component. The Best Tobacco I've Ever Had!

This was the first tobacco I've ever tried, and was shocked on how the tin note was! It was rich, dark, and sweet, like a dark roast coffee with a little sugar! When I tasted it after lighting it was like a light bulb moment. So this is how good tobacco pipe smoking is. Since then I've tried other blends, and was disappointed that it never measured up to the very first tobacco I've tried. Great story about it was it was given to me by a friend in a little zip lock, about a few grams. I didn't even have a label on. Since then I asked my friend what it was, and was glad to find it here in Smokingpipes, thank you Smokingpipes for making it easier to have the very best tobaccos available! If you have doubts on trying this blend, do yourself a favor and just do it! It's like the scene in Lord of the Rings when the 2 hobbits found two full jars or very rare pipe weed.
