Broken flakes and coins that come quite moist, reclose the tin after opening then smoke the next day and it resolves. All components are tightly integrated and give a taste of bread sweetened with rich dark molasses. Flavor is consistent down the bowl and does not vary greatly. I had hardly heard of, let alone tasted any HU tobacco until Smokingpipes started carrying it. So far I'm BLOWN AWAY with these wonderful blends I've only found one that I don't love (The Untouchables) but all of the others I've sampled are amazing. Edward G is a medium to full bodied Va/Per blend that I'm becoming addicted to. Several of these blends come from the tin a bit moist, requiring a bit of drying, and even a little breaking of the flakes to smoke better. But I'm so impressed with these tobaccos and this brand. This is a fitting tribute to an amazing actor, genuinely good man and a prodigious smoker, Edward G Robinson. I would highly recommend you try this, and many other HU blends....Read More

Edward G Robinson was a tobacco Enthusiast and an Ambassador for the pipe lifestyle. HU tobacco brings their best to a blend named in his honor. Smooth, flavorful, with a slight sweetness. Zero bite or burn. Mild power level. My favorite memory is of him in the movie Soylent Green shedding a tear over a small tomato and wilted stalk of celery, and his final scene at the end was gripping.
