Black 2oz Pipe Tobacco

Named and blended for Smokingpipes' brick-and-mortar store Low Country Pipe and Cigar in Little River, South Carolina, Low Country pipe tobaccos are all crafted by Cornell & Diehl — also located in South Carolina. They're blended to be classic, easy-smoking mixtures, honoring South Carolina's historic Lowcountry and named for some of the region's iconic rivers.

Once called the Wee Nee by local Native American tribes, the Black River courses through north-central South Carolina before merging with the Great Pee Dee River near Georgetown. As a pipe tobacco, Black is a bold, coarse-cut blend of Bright Virginias, stoved Red Virginias, and a hint of smoky Latakia. Distinct from typical Virginia mixtures and not the usual Latakia-based blend, Low Country's Black celebrates discovering beauty in the least expected places.
