Good tasting flue cured Virginia in shag cut. Shag is quite a fine cut and makes the tobacco look almost like moss. It makes for easy use and smoking. You can smoke this in a pipe if you like. Suit yourself, it’s good either way, and has a nice aftertaste.

I never smoked a shag before, but now I might be a convert. This packs very well, lights up instantly, and doesn't seem to want to go out, even if I set the pipe down for awhile. I would have liked a bit more flavor and sweetness, but at least this isn't goopy and gorpy. It does have a hard initial nicotine hit that caught me off-guard.The deeper I get into the mason jar the better it becomes. I like shag cuts in addition to flakes I smoke and this is a real winner. Spicy and clean tasting. There is a rich flavor that comes out in the latter part of the bowl.
