Good tasting flue cured Virginia in shag cut. Shag is quite a fine cut and makes the tobacco look almost like moss. It makes for easy use and smoking. You can smoke this in a pipe if you like. Suit yourself, it’s good either way, and has a nice aftertaste.

I never smoked a shag before, but now I might be a convert. This packs very well, lights up instantly, and doesn't seem to want to go out, even if I set the pipe down for awhile. I would have liked a bit more flavor and sweetness, but at least this isn't goopy and gorpy. It does have a hard initial nicotine hit that caught me off-guard.The deeper I get into the mason jar the better it becomes. I like shag cuts in addition to flakes I smoke and this is a real winner. Spicy and clean tasting. There is a rich flavor that comes out in the latter part of the bowl. An exceptional shag tobacco for the pipe! Quite refined...and delivers a superb taste and aroma. Packs and lights easy and the "eye-lash" cut of this shag is very fine, yet it burns very well from the top to bottom of the bowl. A brilliant Virginia. Packs and lights easy. Has a wonderfully mellow taste, a bit sweet and just a hint of floral. The best VA I have had yet and I have had the big names before this (FVF and HV), but I'm not big fans of them. This has brought me in to loving a pure VA. No bite at all.
