About This Pipe Tobacco

The Per Jensen Legacy Collection presents four distinctive Danish-American pipe tobacco blends, inspired by the life, legacy, and personal smoking preferences of Per's father, Per Georg Jensen, a Danish Navy veteran who left a lasting mark on the pipe community. Each blend is carefully crafted by Cornell & Diehl under the guidance of Per G. Jensen.

King's Watch is a Danish-style, Bright Virginia flake, with natural toasted sweetness and bright, crisp citrus notes.

Picked this up because I loved the tin art, history, and straight virginias. Didn't expect much but was greatly shown something truly special. I was first greeted by the bready, sweet, lemony, virginias, than was accompanied by great notes of baked goods and spices. I end up reaching for it more than most of my blends to the point where I have to talk myself into exploring other blends. Most people are going for and are more interested in other per jensens new blends, but this honestly needs more attention in the series! Quality stuff! Having this in a Jorn that likes Blondes. Light and very well balanced. Just a smidgeon of sweetness, similar to Luxury Navy flake sans the Perique. Will, like the Port Guard, age nicely. A second winner from this line

Its a good solid Virginia. Nothing fancy. Easy to smoke. But to be honest I was expecting a little something more out of Per. Waiting on the aromatic. But at least I got a couple of the other blends for the 3 days it was available. Give me Pipe Force: NextGeneration, No Latakia per Justin please Per. Unrelated. Ok.
