As with everything Solani does, Festival begins with quality tobacco. I am a Solani fan. Festival is very mild, and it does not have much tobacco flavor or nicotine. The aromatic topping is incredibly fruity and "sweet" – it smells sweet but there is not much sweetness on the palate or tongue. But that's typically what an aromatic is: smells great, not much flavor. This aroma is supposed to be plum, and it really does smell plummy, but it's a very European sort of scent. If you're familiar with Sillem's Red or Black, for example, you'll know what I mean. It's very perfumy and floral. If you like American style aromatics exclusively (codger bait), Festival may not appeal to you. But if you like European aromatics or Lakelands you might enjoy it....Read More
