People argue if this is an english or not, it really doesn't it seem like it to me , but i truly really don't care at all! its super tasty and has this lingering sweetness that's pleasant. the latakia is not overwhelming and blends with the other components perfectly. Theres like this smokey, tartness upfront with a sweet finish and after taste.

It's interesting how your tastes in tobacco change over time. Used to be if something wasn't a lat bomb I wasn't interested. When I first opened this, maybe this sounds stange, but it just looked like really high quality tobacco. The scent was also high quality. But was disappointed that I wasn't bowled over by heavy latakia. Fast forward a few months, I've come back to this and have a new appreciation for it. Tastes very high quality and also very, very well balanced between the virginia and much more laid back lat, all smoothed out by the BC. Who knows...some day maybe my taste will even change to where I can enjoy a straight Virginia....Read More

Tin note of tart sweet, smoky, and vinegar. The black broken flakes with a little brown mixed in is listed as a ready rub. Moisture content is good, rubs out nicely, no drying needed. Burns slow with few relights. The strength is medium and nic is mild. No flavoring detected. Taste is medium and consistent, with complex notes of very woody, musty grass, dry earth, citrus peel, mildly sweet tart fruit, mildly smoky, a lemony background note, and a peppery retro. Virginias is leading with cavendish and Latakia supporting. Room note is tolerable, and aftertaste is great....Read More

This is the first Solani tobacco I’ve tried, and I am excited to try more. This broken flake comes with a musty, smoky, bready tin note. Needed minimal drying and packed well. Slow and cool brining, and very creamy. The Virginia is matured and offers flavor or graham cracker and fig, like a fig newton. The Latakia is truly condimental, enough to add interest throughout the smoke, adding something like sweet incense/opium. There’s a toasted marshmallow sweetness, maybe coming from the black cavendish. This will be one I will be purchasing more tin to cellar. Not sure the age of the tin I bought, but it already seemed to have an aged quality to it....Read More
