About This Pipe

Jeff Gracik learned pipe making from the likes of Todd Johnson, Tonni Nielsen, and Jody Davis. His desire to make the best pipe he possibly can has led him to make some incredible and incredibly unique smoking instruments over the years, including this Tomato. The stain is a very pale brown that gives a natural look to the wood, and the lightly canted bowl is sandblasted in nearly concentric circles centering on the chamber for a unique touch and easy grip. The shank is lengthy and upturned slightly into a ring of ivorite at the junction, an elegant touch that bridges the shank and stem well. The stem is a brief, lightly bent piece of vulcanite with a somewhat round bit, a stark contrast to the pale coloring of the stummel. In all, Jeff has created a piece here that is as appealing to the hand as it is to the eyes and will be an attractive choice in a collection of any size.
