A nice, tight plug that cuts into beautiful flakes. It’s smooth, sweet, and pleasantly citrusy, with great flavor right out of the tin. I’m sure it will only get better with age.

I’m blown away. I can see what others say about the various hay, grass, and bread notes. Those terms apply, but there’s more to it. I think that’s one of the things that appeals most to me - there are subtleties in this blend that I don’t get with many other products. It’s intriguing and develops nicely throughout the bowl. After smoking watchman's reach, I was a tad apprehensive that this would be very similar, boy was I wrong! To me, it's taste like Orlik Golden Slice, just without the spice. I'm thrilled with this, I shall be buying more!

This is my first plug tobacco, and I have been very impressed with it. The tin note is very pleasant, nothing super strong. I sliced it thin and rubbed it out, and it seems to burn well like that. This smoke is very relaxing and enjoyable. There's depth and complexity to it if you go searching for it, but it's also not distracting if you're trying to smoke while paying attention to something else (reading a book, etc.).
