Savinelli - Juno 2oz
What a great straight Virginia.
Came in very wet and had a weird smell similar to dog food... after drying it up for a bit smells better now. Smokes fantastically, doesn't bite at all. Sweet and bready, with other notes appearing as well that I don't know how to describe.
HU - Makhuwa 100g
My first Burley blend
The first few smokes couldn't taste anything but the cocoa topping, then the topping subsided to the background, and I felt those "Earthly, chocolatey" notes that people describe when talking about Burley. So far I'm enjoying it, it provides a nice break from traditional vapers and english tobaccos that I smoke. Tends to bite, be it dry or wet, so sip slowly. Surprisingly it is my first tobacco that doesn't gurgle at all It would be unfair if I rated it below 5 because I don't know how it compares to other Burley blends.

My first g.l. pease blend and oh wow, definitely in my top 2 and it's fighting for first vs HU Zulu. Just amazing.

Would be 5/5 if didn't have bitterness and some kind of gasoline taste starting from halfway through the bowl

Non aromatic smoker, can't get the hype.
I was promised that it has no chemical taste, turns out it has typical cherry chemical taste that you will find in any cheap bubble gum, I hate it. Don't feel any chocolate either. There are better aromatics out there like Guilty Pleasure.

I just can't taste anything except aniseed, expected much more.

Raw, bitter smokiness interplay
I don't have the ability to decipher and describe each note, I feel an interplay of different "smokinesses" but it is too raw and bitter for me, need some counter balance. It's like coffee without sugar, some people just like it and some just don't. Quality is there and if you are that type a person you will not regret grabbing this. If you like a little bit "sugar" then my beloved Zulu is the way to go.

Very enjoyable. tried it again after experienced many tins of popular English tobaccos, this is good stuff, especially for the price.

Very good, morning blend
Very weird that it has 3.8 score, I assume people expect something complex, but it is very simple and tasty and that's its beauty. You will not regret buying this. Also, one of the most beautiful tins.
Presbyterian - Presbyterian 50g
Perfect morning smoke.
At first smoke nothing, but after that? Oh my god, I don't know which tobacco does that but it has such unique, not punchy in the face flavor, it's my favorite in the mornings or evenings when I want to relax from complex tobacco. Also, the history and tin of this blend are cool.

Unique, has a smell of a freshly cut grass. Didn't impress me by taste whatsoever, but I'm not experienced in straight Virginia. Love the tin though

Non chemical taste aromatic
If you are that guy or gal that despises aromatics because of its too artificial chemical taste then this tobacco is for you. I don't know about notes and stuff, it tastes sweet and you can taste tobacco as well, perfect for a occasion where you want make others ask "what smells so good?" while also being able to enjoy tobacco.

Finally got it.
I am relatively new pipe smoker and to satisfy my curiosity of how pure virginia tasted like I bought this 1 year through pipe smoking hobby. For 1 year I didn't like at all, I could feel the hay and natural sweetness, but thought "is that it?", it also burned too easily. Tried it several times , was chasing something that wasn't supposed to even be there, and was ready to give it away to anyone. Until 1 year later, after more or less learning how to smoke properly, in the morning deciding what to smoke and being a bit "burnt out" from my current blends, I decided to give it a try and oh man, the simplicity and natural sweetness just gifted me one of the best morning smokes I've ever had. I don't think it's suitable as an everyday smoke, at least for me, but for the mornings when you want simple smoke to let the brain rest from trying to discern notes in complex blends - perfect. Frankly, I don't know how it compares to other virginia tobaccos so it would be unfair if I gave it less than 5 stars.

My favorite blend.
I'm a pipe smoker for 2 years, tasted around 20 blends and this is just another level. After smoking this, Peterson's 965 and Nightcap lost its flavors to me... Smoky, creamy, sweet, fruity.
