This is best described as a kitchen-sink blend, except no Lat. Everything else is there, in balance and harmony. Underlying subtle sweetness from the Virginias. Earthy and dark spices and chocolate from the cigar leaf, and smoke from the dark fired. Nuts from the burley. Rich and complex. Tastes like a cigar, but one you’d pay dearly for. I have a jar of this dated 02/09/22. Just cleaned out my OD Williamsburg clay tavern pipe and cracked the jar open to pack it up for a quick smoke. This Country Lawyer somehow has a way of abating my hankerings for good Perique. It's a lot smoother now than it was when I bought it, but it still smokes robust and peppery. The taste of Virginia appears more prominently in the flavor profile than any cigar I've tried, but that rich cigar-leaf-taste is still always dominant throughout the smoke. Tonight I'm shocked to see how moist on top inside the jar it still is after three years of sitting there, even if the lid was cranked down pretty tight, and I'm finding it leaves a film on my tongue like Prince Albert. Perfect Southern Lawyer in a jar

I remember xmas as a kid. At my aunts house, her husband. He was the classic southern lawyer. Straight out of a Grisham novel based in southern Alabama or east Texas. . He smoked a pipe, and it always smelled so good, and looked so distinguished when he orated over dinner... Nice and spicy blend

Reminiscent of a nice mild-medium cigar. Spicy with a touch of sweetness, stays fairly well lit. Doesn’t change much throughout the bowl. It’s not an everyday smoke, but it’s pretty well repeatable. I find it works well as a fall blend and pairs nicely with chai.
