It's an English blend, with all your usual suspects...excuse me, a Scottish blend of Burley, Latakia, Orientals, Perique, Virginia...like you've smoked in a hundred different blends, right?
This is different.
Someone left the Estrogen out of this one.
You might not like this.
Millennial's may be offended.
This blend doesn't care about you.
It's not going to hug you if you cry.

If a bald eagle smoked a pipe, it would have Bayou Night in its bowl. This stuff is in constant rotation for me. Heavy, musky, spicy, leathery and peppery. This one is very perique forward, following some Virginia flavors and then Latakia at the back end. Surprisingly not a lot of bite off this one. I can have a bowl cherry red and have almost no bite off of it. This was my first burley blend and I almost threw it out, man that would've been a big mistake. I wasn't ready for all of the flavor and the strong scent of the tobacco, the smell is not necessarily pleasing. After one smoke I was wondering what I got myself into as I've never tried blends like this but after a week in a mason jar it seemed to mellow out a little and for some reason I kept going back to it and I'm glad I did because each smoke after i enjoyed more than the last. I ordered more a few days after I got it and I believe I'll cellar some and keep it for a daily smoke but definitely not an all day smoke....Read More
