Product: Cornell & Diehl Burley Flake #3 2oz
I had to improve the 3.8 star rating. All these burley blends are different enough that one might suit a person more than the others, but 3.8 isn’t representative of this blend. IMO… This is my favorite of all the 5 blends and so much better with age. My last tin was over 3 years old and SO GOOD! Give it a try!...Read More

Product: Cornell & Diehl Burley Flake #3 2oz
Not bad but not a lot of complexity basic earthy and nutty burley not really and kick from the DF at all the VA and perique show up here and there.
Sweet, spicy, rich, satisfying!

Product: Cornell & Diehl Burley Flake #3 2oz
This blend is extremely good. It has all the qualities I personally look for in a tobacco. The taste is sweet, with the red VA's never straying towards a sour note. The smoke is billowing and rich, with a noticeable tingle of spice on the tongue and in the nose. The nicotine, while high, is not overbearing or head spinning; it satisfies without debilitating me. The flaked are dry, but there's an advantage there. This blend is easy-to-break apart, while the reasonable moisture content makes for little to no tongue bite, even if I smoke it like a freight train. The fact that y'all don't sell this in 8oz tins is shameful. I'll be buying much more of this blend from here on out....Read More

Product: Cornell & Diehl Burley Flake #3 2oz
I’ve smoked #1 and #2 for years, and they’ve consistently been in my rotation as repeat buys. I find #3 to be quite good—sweet, with a tad more Perique than stated, but it also has a noticeable spiciness, especially on the retrohale. A good smoke
not my favorite.

Product: Cornell & Diehl Burley Flake #3 2oz
Tin notes of Rasin, dark fruit, and faint barbeque. The flakes are dark brown with a little black and slightly moist. Rubs out fairly easily, no drying needed. Burns somewhat slow with some relights. The strength is strong and nic is strong. No flavoring detected. Taste is full and a consistent beat down, with notes of very spicy cigar, quite earthy, dry wood, roasted nuts, overly toasted bread, dry bitter herbs, mildly sweet, mildly floral, mildly grassy, mild lemon, mild raisin and a very peppery retro. The burleys are leading a beatdown with perique and dark fired Kentucky actively participating. Virginias may not be actually throwing punches, but its supporting. Room note is tolerable, and aftertaste is good....Read More
