About This Pipe Tobacco

C&D's Gentleman Caller is a blend of Virginias and Burleys, with a dash of Deertongue for a vanilla-like sweetness and a smidge of Perique for spice. This mellifluous mixture is so fragrant that Grandma always kept a few bowls around as potpourri to make her favorite beaus feel right at home when they came calling.

The taste is a refreshing change. The deertounge has a unique flavor profile. I also have Neuro Sarcoidosis in which my lower body always is in pain and makes it difficult to walk. After a bowl of this i seem to walk better and the pain dissipates

A fun blend with pleasing notes

I bought this blend not expecting a ton. I read descriptions and thought it might be a good change of pace, little did I know it would become a regular of mine. The tin note is one of my favorites and smells like vanilla. I get a nice vanilla and light dried fruit taste and the room note is pretty inoffensive. It is very mild nicotine wise so I would definitely recommend for beginners or those worried about getting spins from multiple bowls. I’ve had this tobacco for about a year now, it definitely smooths out with age, the deer tongue incorporates into the blend better and It went from the blend I avoided tasting somewhat unpleasant to the one I go to sip on when I want something simple that I can smoke in mixed company

If you haven’t tried deertongue and enjoy vanilla-esque flavors def get on that. This blend and crooner will always be in my rotation. The flavor of deertongue is hard to describe, orange blossom/soft mint/tonquin bean would be my best description. It really plays well with the other tobaccos in this blend.
