Damn good.
Look at my first comment. “WOW”.
It was like firing up a bowl of Crackin Oat Bran cereal, but improved with a touch of spice and hint of smoke.
I’m a nicotine fiend. I smoke pipes , cigars, cigarettes (bought and RYO), chew leaf and dip Copenhagen and on occasion dabble with nasal snuff.
This instantly got my full attention - it was a “smoker’s dream”. Sweet, warm , bit of spice, bit of smoke. Spice more prominent towards end of the bowl.
It’s labeled an English , which I guess makes sense with the Latakia, Perique and Orientals - but to me this is a “modified improved Burley”. I freaking love it. Compared to the previous blend, it’s worlds apart.
A bit of a warning though- do not push this one. It will run to the hot side and taste of ash if you abuse it.
This is a good blend I think if you love a good “smoke/nicotine” but don’t really dig Latakia and/or Perique a whole lot. I say that because they’re here , sure , but really way way muted - just seasoning , not stars of the show - and do a great job bridging burley and oriental together.
I’m really digging this. Get some - I am.
For the excercise I will ascribe my own 5 point rating (whole number only).
My rating : 5- this is great - I’m getting a pound minimum next pay day

I like C&D burley blends like Billy Budd and Pegasus, but the only word that kept coming to mind as I smoked this one is “nasty”. Not for me.
