Better Than You’d Expect

I get no coconut, fruit, or topping whatsoever. The tobacco also arrived noticeably dry, so perhaps that has something to do with the absence of those flavors. It’s possible some of the aromatic character has simply faded in transport maybe.
Oddly enough, though, the absence of those promised flavors isn’t bothering me at all. Component\-wise, this may actually be the best C&D tobacco I’ve smoked so far. The underlying tobacco is genuinely enjoyable, and even the room note is surprisingly pleasant.
Based purely on the tobacco itself, I’d put this tobacco down as a genuinely solid option. I don’t know whether I’m missing something crucial because of the dryness or whether this is simply what Bob Bushman tastes like to me\.
Either way, this was a pleasant blind\-buy surprise. I went in expecting a tropical aromatic and instead found a tobacco\-forward blend categorized as an aromatic that I actually really enjoyed because it tastes like tobacco....Read More

Strong burley flavor, like a VaBurPer, with light casing

rn off after the first few puffs, and what's left is good, strong tobacco.
Is it a true "aromatic"? Not in my book. In my humble opinion, it's a powerful VaBurPer with a little casing added, just to make it interesting.

r (like nestle quick, not baking cocoa) and something fungal / umami
Ok. Up front: I like this one. I am holding myself to the 5 point scale, but if I were doing half points this would get an additional .5.
This aromatic is light and airy, and had some surprises. Very first light and I was like “this is Carter halls distant more fun cousin, but that thought went away. Why?
Because the next surprise was a cherry taste - and one I don’t like - for the briefest of moments it had an underlying BRM faux cherry taste - but here it was ok. Maybe because then it seemed I was wrong. It’s some fruit , but not cherry. I needed another bowl to try harder to find it.
On the light , it hit me. It tastes like suntan lotion smells , but from a slight distance. Not on you, but on someone else who walks by. Weirdly pleasant. And the cheap chocolate I smelled in the bag popped in. Like Palmer chocolate you get at Easter , not rich, just milk chocolate and butter fat. The cherry:not cherry popped its head up again.
Now I’m mystified so I went to read the description. You need to know - I haven’t read them in advance. I want to avoid mis-cues or preconceived notions of I can avoid it. And there it is : “hints of coconut and other tropical fruits” “evocative of Caribbean delights”.
I gotta say they got that right - otherwise how do I get the whole suntan lotion thing ?
This is definitely someone’s favorite blend. It’s not mine - BUT - I do think getting a few ounces to take out in the water while fishing would be nice.
My rating : 3- this is good - I’d buy it on sale Or to get free shipping in an order
