About This Pipe Tobacco
Gawith, Hoggarth & Co's Ennerdale Flake is predominately Virginia leaf from Brazil, Zimbabwe, and Malawi but with the addition of sun-cured Malawi to add sweetness, strength and to cool the smoke and Malawi Burley to carry the flavor in addition to its cooling and strength qualities. A background flavor of almond is enhanced with the addition of fruit, vanilla, and the special Lakeland style flavors to give this tobacco its distinctive aroma and taste.

This tobacco really surprised me. The floral notes are subtle. The fruits were nice and not kick in the face. The smoke was creamy and left a sweet taste not only in my mouth but on the stem too. A plus tobacco, buying more this week!!

If I had only one tobacco, it would be Ennerdale. Made to perfection. Stays lite, burns down to a white ash, tastes incredible with its classic Lakeland essence. It really is a perfect tobacco.
