New Market provides a bright smoke with a lovely sweet room note. The problem is the cut. It's consistently arrived in large shriveled chunks that refuse to light, making what would have been a pleasant smoke a frustrating endeavor which usually ends in disappointment.

Try Deertongue

This is one of the very few blends available nowadays with deertongue in it. Smokes great. Some suggests that the DT might ghost the pipe, in my experience no, it did not ghost my pipe. And it tastes good. Worth the money.

Excellent blend! Became even better when I pressed it into a crumble cake for 10 days in the noodle press! The taste and aroma really remind me of Dutch spice cake, which my mom used to bake for road trips when I was a kid.
