This blend is what DEERS TONGUE IS ALL ABOUT. FORGET THAT WIMPY CROONER, (very little to non DT) and get the real thing when it’s available. Being bulk, the price is right. If you crave DEERS TONGUE, this is it. Burns well, no bite, very very little nic. Sweet Virginia tastes good too.Will keep buying when it becomes available again. Excellent blend! Became even better when I pressed it into a crumble cake for 10 days in the noodle press! The taste and aroma really remind me of Dutch spice cake, which my mom used to bake for road trips when I was a kid.

How did I not know about this blend! I love Deertongue something about it reminds me of my childhood out in the woods. This blend really takes me back to that time. I've had Crooner and Gentleman Caller based on all the talk around those two blends and they definetly remind me of my childhood.. Crooner in my opinion is good; Gentleman Caller is better; New Market to me surpasses those blends and know one ever talks about it. I know Deertongue can be a love or hate it tobacco. Most people including myself Crooner and Gentleman Caller are occasional tobaccos to smoke even though I really like Deertongue blends. New Market changes that for me. It is a blend I can smoke everyday all day and completely takes me back to my childhood not just reminding me of it. If you like Deertongue do yourself a favor and give this one a shot. This blend was a pleasant surprise. While not a traditional aromatic, the Deer Tongue provides a natural, herbal sweetness that accents the tobacco perfectly.
