They're blended to be classic, easy-smoking mixtures, honoring South Carolina's historic Lowcountry and named for some of the region's iconic rivers.
Honoring the Great Pee Dee River, Pee Dee is a ready-rubed mixture and Low Country's first Burley blend, featuring heirloom Dark and White Burley, St. James Parish Perique, and matured Red and Bright Virginia tobaccos. A rich, flavorful smoke, Pee Dee offers the depth and vigor of its namesake.

ttle interplay between the burleys and Virginias, with the perique give an ever-present background spice. The last half of the bowl is my favorite. I love this.
For me… earthy up front. Slight spice. I absolutely love the perique in this… each puff it shows up to say “Howdy, How are you?” Then makes way for slight sweetness from the Virginia. Slight tang/something pungent… like rich buttermilk/sour cream.

The Perique is present but restrained, contributing a subtle dark fruit and spice note in the background rather than dominating the profile. It adds depth without pushing the blend into pepper-heavy territory.

A little tart, dark and very chocolatey. Definitely Burley based, surprised it has Cavendish in it at all. I have had trouble with it getting bitter and harsh as the smoke goes on and before I'm near the bottom of the bowl. I'll keep at it though, it's good stuff.
