m some vague sweetness, but the tobacco has a nice flavor. after allowing it some time to dry out a bit, it is a nice and mellow smoke.
Old Review:
I'll start by saying that right out of the tin the tobacco has a nice scent. Slightly sweet from the cavendish but you can definitely pick up on the other tobaccos in the blend however faint.
Smoking it was what led me to giving this a 3 star rating. The aroma that wafted around the room was somewhat vanilla and mostly vague sweetness. The flavor was kind of the same, that is when I could get this stuff to stay lit. I don't know if it was the Oom Paul I was using or if the tobacco was too moist, but it did not want to stay lit and bit my tongue a few times. I felt like a steam engine the way I was puffing on it. Maybe it was bad technique on my part, I did give it time to rest many times while trying to smoke it.
I'm going to give this some time to age and revisit it. I will update this review when that happens....Read More

does not make me think of Vanilla at all, because I am quite familiar with the smell of pure vanilla extract used in baking. Neither does the room note. Maybe I was expecting to smell cookies, and it’s not, it’s Tobak! That being said, it’s a good, solid, inoffensive aromatic that is quite enjoyable. It didn’t jump out at me, and unlike the Melange, I doubt I will be buying any to cellar. I was going to say that I would buy it again, but I just opened some Briarworks “Sweet Tea”, that Tobak smells more like “Vanilla” to me.
