Quiet Nights Without Perique
The name of the blend should be quiet mornings. It’s a less intense version of quiet nights. Creamy and delicious. The formula is phenomenal. I’ve tried about a dozen English blends. My top three are: Quiet Nights, Horizons, and Plum Pudding. These three win. Trust me

This is the best VaBur I’ve tried so far. Nothing to complain about except it’s kinda hard to keep it lit but I do not mind that at all as long as it tastes this good and the tobacco is of high quality. Let it dry out a bit, for at least 20 mins, prior to packing.

Not up to my standards
This VaPer looks good cause it’s a shag cut which is pretty cool, it also smells good right out of the tin. But it is definitely lacking a lot during smoke. I personally prefer C&D Bayou Morning Flake & Orlik Golden Slices over this, so much so that this hasn’t been in my rotation ever since I’ve tried those.
Cornell & Diehl - Briar Fox 16oz
I agree with BurleyVonPuffington
The blend is just ok. There is nothing so special about it. I think it is overhyped and overrated because the tin can looks cool. But the smoke itself is slightly below average. I prefer KC flake, a tastier VaBur by all means.
Orlik - Golden Sliced 100g
Spicy orange peel
I’ve had Capatan both colors, and royal yacht, this has a tin tone that wins! Right out of the tin a lot of tangy fruit, like mandarine peel infused with some sort of spice like black pepper. Ofcourse you’ll smell the grassy/hay of Virginia as well. Once lit, you will taste a rich tobacco flavor with the subtle tanginess, it’s sweet and tasty. It will have you puffing non stop. While it is medium in strength, the Nic hit will slap you on the face if puffed too fast. No tongue bite. Don’t buy 5 tins, save some for others!
McConnell - Oriental 50g

I have purchased over 45 different blends, and I have a lot of English blends with orientals. This one is the worse 🤮 I would rather smoke sage or mugwort than smoke this. It’s dry, almost no flavor, and tastes like canned spinach. What a disappointment! — UPDATE: After 3 weeks of jarring this blend has become on of my favorites! It’s actually I really good blend. Not right out of the tin, but a couple weeks to a month in a mason jar. This is what I call a good morning blend with a cup of coffee.
Cornell & Diehl - Autumn Evening
Just ok.
It’s just an ok blend, the flavor is burnt maple. But something about the flavoring is off. It doesn’t seem to be a high quality flavoring like Nutty Irishman’s, which was spectacular. In my opinion if this is a must try don’t go for over an ounce just to explore it.
CAO - Eileen's Dream 50g
A more developed version of Captain Black Original
I’ve smoked over 40 different blend types aro and non aro. This blend isn’t bad at all nor is it something spectacular, it is best described as a more developed, more refined version of Captain Black (white pouch). This is more of what I wanted that blend to be when I first tried it (CB). So after packing give it +25 minutes drying time, you’ll get zero tongue bite. A mellow and mild, sweet and chocolatey smoke. No chemical or medicine aftertaste. Worth a try but not a wow.
Cornell & Diehl - Nutty Irishman 2oz
Surprised
I bought Nutty Irishman, Crooner, and Autumn Evening. If I could return autumn evening and replace it with this I would. This is much better in taste and smell. The tobacco is of high quality. I think it contains perique cause it has some sort of spice to it. No bite. Nic hit is medium, 3 out of 5. It smells like an Iced Caramel Frappuccino with almond milk out of the tin. I’ll buy it again!

Must try if you’re into burley and perique
It’s spicy and nutty. Medium+ in Nic strength. A good late evening blend that tastes great. This one will age well. Give it a go!

Good morning blend
I have tried this in the morning and loved it! Tried it in the evening and didn’t get the same experience. Out of the tin it smells like natural tobacco with a subtle caramel like topping. Once lit, you will taste quality burley and Virginias with a splash of perique.

It’s a good blend, but it lacks some orientals. All it needed for it to be perfect was 10% orient.

I haven’t tasted a good cigar in a while. These are rich and tasty, from the very first puff you’ll get the leaf oil on your tongue with a good room note. I don’t regret this purchase.
