Dry and burning mouth.

The taste is very plain and lacks layers. If you taste it slowly, the sweetness is obvious. If you take a big puff, it irritates the mouth and nasal cavity quite a lot, making the taste feel very hot and dry.

Not your usual burley blend

The combination of burley and Turkish is superb. In my personal opinion it does not need any Virginia, but it does not bother me either. straight forward blend

This reminds me a bit of when i would smoke American Spirits. The burley is nutty, the virgina adds a warm note, the orientals adds some nuance to the mix. It is interesting for sure, flavor doesn't fall flat. It is essentially a complex cigarette blend, to me.

A nice mild all day tobacco! I enjoy this with a cup of coffee in the morning! I have been very happy with the D&R blends of pipe tobacco.

Again D&R gets a bad rap. I bought a tin of this a while back and just got into it and enjoying it very much. This is unadulterated tobacco. It comes quite dry but all D&R tobacco I have tried comes dry. It's good stuff and every palate is different.
