ing that overheats and sours the smoke. I love the cut. There is a sweet creaminess with faint hints of tart fruit. Rich flavor but not heavy on the pallette.
If you smoke just fast enough to keep the pipe lit, and sip cool water, you will experience Virginia tobacco at its finest.
I like this stuff in a small Peterson system pipe while I am reading outside. It's a refreshing beautiful tobacco perfect for warm weather outside. Read Less

ar as the natural flavors of a good Virginia didn't come through for me, just sweetness. Now, there is nothing wrong with that, but I prefer the full range of flavors of Virginia in Yorktown or Low Country Virginia.
This did burn cool and smooth and was a pleasant smoke.
Smoking this in an Old Dominion cob enhanced the flavor of this tobacco. It's a bit sweet, but still a great smoke. I upgraded my rating to 4.5. Read Less

Better than Winchester, barely. Could possibly be alright after a year or two in a jar. I'm never buying bulk again. This and Winchester have traumatized me. I'm sceptical of ever ordering bulk again. For real. I'd rather pay double and get quality.

if it had perique, bit without the signature perique flavor. Very pleasing and just interesting enough to make me want more. By the end, I honestly thought I was smoking capstan blue (which is favorite VA ).
I will definitely be stocking up in bulk, as it tastes so similar to, and is way more affordable than capstan. Definitely worth a go. Read Less

uld be taken very seriously ,so i ordered a tin.Mighty Goddess what a nice fragrance just straight out of the tinnice prune-ish smell,so plesant .It burns very well ash turning white right away and the taste somewhat reminds me The Dream of Kadath,something prunish -fig-ish ,it is like a little Perique is added to this blend .Smokes dry and slow.I smoke in a pipe made by myself ,a vulcano with military stem.Tongue bite?I cant say anything about it because i just cant have it by any kind of tobacco ,ive never even experienced it(some say that it is due to my inate proclivity to pipe smoking)however Thank you Jeremy for this miraculous blend (among all the others)and i can just highly highly recomend it . rginia as well. I also really enjoy the cut of this. It is a very wide cut broken flake that i have just been packing straight without rubbing out and it burns fantastic. Burns slow and smokes cool and dry. My tin was two years old when i smoked it. I plan on trying some fresh if i can and i will def be aging several tins. I feel like this could also scratch the itch of anyone missing their Mcclelland virginias. Dont get me wrong it is not a replacement but it does remind me of Mcclelland at certain times during the smoke. Read Less

is is what I would call a working blend. If you're doing something (reading mowing the grass, tinkering in the shop, or just solving life's problems) this would be the blend to do it with. No bite, dry smoke, and a pleasant experience, just not blasted with flavors. I could get behind another order of this one. Read Less
