Five Brothers, originally blended by the five Finzer brothers well over a century ago, keeps things simple and is entirely made from air-cured, shag-cut Burley. That is not, however, to say that it is without distinction. It's a strong blend and can also be used as a blending component with other mixtures.

No nonsense burley that is ready to go. Needs no drying time and stays lit if you’re doing things/working/driving and want to clench this is very convenient. Also has a satisfying nic hit.

The Epitome of No Nonsense

Flavor wise this blend is a little mild, but it tastes exactly how you'd like a burley blend to. A lot of nuttiness, a bit of sweetness, a little umami, and a creamy flavor that is also apparent in the mouth feel.
I find this blend pretty smooth, no tongue bite what so ever. There is a slight bit of harshness, but I would compare it to a strong perique spice.
I find myself reaching for 5 Bros after I've smoked a bowl that was very complex. The simplicity, smokeability, and straight forwardness of this blend is really fantastic. I wish there was a bulk blend that was comparable in cut and flavor, but until then $5/oz isn't a horrible price....Read More

Real burley, strong, tasty. I smoke it straight from small pipes or add it to various blends. I really liked the combination of Half&Half with a pinch of this burley. It turned out to be a great blend!
