Unfortunately bought 5 tins of this based on a trusted source... First tin was too far gone, completely dried out and unsmokeable. 2nd tin was nearly as bad, tried to rehydrate but the flavor had already dissipated beyond recovery.
I'll pop the other tins to see if there is any worth saving, I have no reason to believe this tobacco is anything more than a complete waste of my money......Read More

Just opened one of two tins today (because of the low 2.8 rating I see). Mine are dated Mar. 2023. It is very dry, so I packed it tightly in a bowl and punched a hole with the poker. It stayed lit, its flavor had hints of potential, but I just couldn't rate it as "average" today; it is definitely "Below Average." Along with the tobacco, I have put two RAW Hydrostones and two Boveda packets in the jar. I'll give it some time and report back. Dang...I also have two tins of Cobblestone "Hiking" (rated 4.7) and I should check those soon. Not a good way to go out, Sutliff...NOT GOOD! I did plan to keep all of my remaining Sutliff and Mac Baren blends; thanks to another STG acquisition. And STG ... ;[...Read More

*Disclaimer, I only smoked this once so keep that in mind. This is my first and only impression before dumping this in the trash…

Tin note smells of prunes and something burnt. Not offensive smelling, just different. This was very dry. No need to dry it before going in the bowl. It had a hard crunchy texture which may explain my next observation…..I could not keep this stuff lit at all. And further more, I did not enjoy the taste. Had no desire to try this a second time....Read More

Great smelling and tasting tobacco. There is a strong beef jerky flavor and figs/prunes as the supporting player. After a while you can pick up a hint of citrus in the background. Burns well till the end, not much relight and not much moisture, you can smoke it right out of the tin. The perfect Fall blend....Read More

This is another great example of an aromatic done well. Not one of the very best, but still a job well done. It has a wonderful toasted marshmallow flavor and room note throughout and, if kept at a good cadence, won't get too hot or bite too much.
