the previously reviews aros that were oily all seemed to be , well, gross.
This is not the case here. Though it did crackle once or twice in the bowl, this actually was very very familiar. Not that I have ever had it mind you, but I am a huge fan of Nutty Irishman , and I’m pretty sure this is about 7/8 of that blend, sans the hazelnut. That said I like it.
It has a good chocolate coffee vibe and smells amazing in the room. And it will fill the room - it even makes monster clouds when outdoors.
There was a time when I was a big fan of the saucier Sutliff tins like Molto Dulce and Pana Cotta. It’s kinda in that vibe. It’s confectionery but it’s not a heavily sauced or overbearing.
I’d say it’s 5x better than the fruit aros I’ve had so far - it’s a decent blend.

Slightly liqueur-ey at first. No coffee or chocolate taste at all until after pipe was done, then I tasted a little cocoa in my mouth. Burns well for a pure cavendish but nothing special.

Rich, Smooth and Relaxing

This rich blend makes for a smooth and relaxing smoke. Its notes of espresso and dark chocolate come through in the tin and the bowl. It’s great to smoke by itself, or blended with an old favorite. It’s room note is pleasant and subtle. The smoke is creamy and delicious.
