Sitting between City Park Avenue and Bayou Metairie lies the Old Grove, home to ancient, moss-covered oaks and many more of New Orleans' oldest trees. Worthy of any cellar, this C&D Cellar Series blend, a complex, ribbon-cut mixture, combines bright and red Virginias, dark Burley, Katerini Turkish, black Cavendish, and granulated Perique together with a subtle pomegranate topping to create a blend that will age as gracefully as the old grove itself.

TIn and room note are pleasant. The taste is best described, in my head, as grassy. It is sweet and hay like. The tin note reminds me of half and half. It is a very pleasant and cool smoke and the retro hale is nice.

C&D did it again. This is an Aromatic that actually tastes how it smells. It’s sweet and spicy. It smokes like a VaPer, with a hint of that raisin sweetness. The end of the bowl is bold and musty, I highly recommend this stuff.
