n with black speckles - in a bowl for photographing it looked like a chocolate chip cookie. The components are Burley, Latakia and Perique.
Sampled in a NEW MM Missouri Pride.
This bad boy has some "OOOMMPH!" from the get-go - Nice.
Is it an English, or is it a badass don't take no names while kicking ass Burley? Either way it is a nice woody spicy smoke. It's almost like taking a sip of Oban Scotch while sitting across the yard from a campfire.
Thick white smoke that carries on with the campfire vibe, I swear it's got Dark Fired Kentucy in there somewhere. I mean, I guess a sprinkling of DFK could fly under the radar as just "Burley" but it's got some kind of special thing going on either way . What's tripping me up here is when I research i see "white burley " which I rated a 2 - is it that the latakia and perique are blended in such a way they imitate the DFK I want so badly to identify here, and the white burley is just a medium to round out and carry them?
Either way - I am going to order some. And by "some" I mean a pound. And probably make a note to order another pound in 6 months. I think this is great fresh - but my gut says, " if you are patient, you will be rewarded".
I already have plans to take this winter camping. Good stuff indeed.

matrix or substrate, framing and rounding out the pairing. It burns super cool, no bite, lots of flavor, medium-full in body. I did need a few relights and had to drain the gurgle a few times, but at the end of the session my bowl was left bone-dry with no moisture. And there wasn't any heel or dottle, just a fine grey ash. Finally, without virginia one might expect a powerfully pungent room note but, quite the opposite, the burley makes it very inviting. Tuggle Hall is NOT fancy, it's not sophisticated, it's not innovating or breaking new ground -- instead, it feels like kicking off your shoes and putting your feet up at the end of a long work week. It's an unpretentious take-me-as-I-am comfort blend that doesn't take a gourmand's refined palate to enjoy. I don't think I can say anymore than to say that if you like Haunted Bookshop, and you like Latakia, this is a must try. People call it simple, and the recipe may be, but the flavors are very complex and perfectly harmonized. This is a major sleeper.

Odd yet satisfying

THis blend has a good flavor at first seemed simple the little into the bowl it turns Very nutty and stayed that way on through. This was a satisfying switch up and I plan on keeping a few tins cellared to try again at times every year or so I bet this blend ages very well.
