About This Pipe Tobacco
Now in its fourth generation of producing fine pipe tobaccos, the Stokkebye family tradition began with Erik Peter Stokkebye, born in 1855, and continues to this day with bespoke blends, many paying homage to important dates in their family history.
A complex, hand-spun coin tobacco, Erik Stokkebye's Night Slice marries mature, Old Belt Virginias to a healthy portion of Dark-Fired Kentucky and a dose of Black Cavendish, resulting in a smoke that's both rich and nuanced. Smoky and savory while still offering notes of tangy sweetness and citrus, this robust blend is well-suited for aging and is sure to appeal to discerning enthusiasts.

I was skeptical about this to start, but got some at the recommendation of someone in my pipe club. I was in search of something to replace my beloved Dark Twist. This covered most of the bases, but lacks the maple flavour. Incredible nonetheless, and is definitely worth it!

is is made their offerings rise to the pinnacle of pipe tobacco. Not sure what's going on but keep it up! Night Slice however, bites - literally. It has excellent flavor and has potential to be an excellent bulk offering with one that wants salty, creamy, nutty oak nuances, punctuated by citrus rind, but until the PH is adjusted, it's average. enjoying the blend is Black Cavendish, which I don't like when it's too straightforward (not stoved/caked, etc).
