G. L. Pease - Westminster 2oz
Great blend
I love this blend, but I prefer Maltese Falcon over this. They smell extremely similar when it comes to the tin note. I think MF has a smoother feel and better overall smoking experience, but I would recommend this as a high quality intro to English style blends.

A timeless English blend
This is a classic English blend in my mind. Absolutely magnificent. This is what an english should taste like to me. I love this one. Along with Innsmouth, this is my favourite blend. This makes me want to solve some mysteries. I feel like a lady noir detective, just burning through this to contemplate all of the clues. GL Pease NAILED this blend!

Great, but…
This is a great blend, but that nic hit is something else; makes swallowing A PAIN (phrasing). This really hits the throat, and leaves a burning sensation (for me at least) for a solid couple of minutes. That said, it tastes wonderful, and has virtually no tongue bite for me. Fold and stuff method works best for me so far with about 5 mins of dry time.

Excellent with coffee
This is an excellent blend, being very similar to the other GL Pease blends that I’ve tried. This one truly is mellow and smooth and goes very well with morning coffee.

Favourite worst nightmare
This is hands down my favourite blend I’ve had. C&D along with G.L. Pease did an excellent job crafting this blend, and I intend to spend an entire day loading bowl after bowl of this blend while reading cosmic horror books. Seriously, this blend is that good. Tin notes of chocolate leading to chocolate covered cherries when smoking, with a nice peppery flourish. Excellent blend, will be perfect for autumn. This one and Maltese Flacon are tied for me. Hard to decide which I like better… but they’re different styles so it’s a win either way.
Cornell & Diehl - Speakeasy Navy Blend 2oz
Absolutely divine
this is an incredible blend straight from the tin. Gave it about 5 mins of drying time, used the fold and stuff method, which worked much better (for me) than rubbing to ribbons. I love the fruitiness mixed with the baking spice. I do get quite a bit of booze upfront, and I have no doubts my other tins will age wonderfully. If this came in kilos, I’d buy multiple

Too much hate
I know this blend gets a lot of hate. In my opinion, this blend is a great straightforward burley. It is full of baking spice (for me) and has an immense fruitiness that I can only describe as “fig”. Wonderful and comforting.

Queen tobacco
It doesn’t matter what time of day it is, this blend is satisfying. On the drive to work? This will wake you up. On the way home? It will help calm you down. It is excellent in morning and evening. You can never go wrong. I only wish it had some longer cuts of tobacco - but it’s still phenomenal regardless.

You need to do it right
This is a great, very light smoke. It needs to dry out for a bit before adding it to your pipe, which is fine, but I cannot keep it lit unless I dry it first. With that said, this blend is very relaxing and would make for an awesome all-day smoke if you’re looking for a work-blend that can be smoked at your desk without worrying about lingering smoke smell.

Great, but…
This blend is great, but I can’t help but feel like it’s incredibly harsh at times. This one has been one that gives me a lot of tongue bite if it’s too humid out, and none if it’s not humid. Nevertheless, this blend is STRONG and provides some great notes. It’s worth a try, but in my opinion, is best enjoyed whilst hiking or doing another outdoor activity. Not the best for indoor smoking. With that said, this is hands down one of my favourite smokes.

Surprisingly Good
I was skeptical about this to start, but got some at the recommendation of someone in my pipe club. I was in search of something to replace my beloved Dark Twist. This covered most of the bases, but lacks the maple flavour. Incredible nonetheless, and is definitely worth it!

Biscuits in a tin
Reminds me of my Mum’s oatmeal biscuits we’d make when I was a kid. Sweet, but not too sweet. I get hints of molasses, grain, toasted nuts, and baking spice. Phenomenal all day blend for me.
Cornell & Diehl - Autumn Evening 2oz
Great All-Around
Love this smoke. Smooth and cool, makes for an excellent all year round smoke. It’s relaxing and inviting, and was the first blend to convince my spouse I could turn my office into a lounge. E.T.A. I bought this at my local B&M, hence the fact I’m not a “verified buyer”
