I am not a fan of heavy aromatics, but I do like a little bit of aroma in my smoke. This blend was kind of a letdown for me. It's kind of like smoking tobacco straight out of the barn. There is not much flavor, just a taste like an old piece of leather burning. I will have to use this as a base for a custom blend. It will probably work well for that....Read More

This plan was flavorful, yet cleaning crisp. It smoked cool and smooth, despite being how dry it was out of the tin. This is easily a nice all day midsummer smoke.

Though there's nothing really special, it matches expectations. It's good, strong, full flavored American Blend. Burns well and quite cool. The nicotine quite high. The taste is balanced, so you get practically everything those four tobaccos in the blend can give: earth, wood, nuts, sweetness and a bit sourness, leather and a bit hay, etc. Maybe it's more Burley-led though. Tin note of stewed figs, spices, and a pungent note. Tobacco cut is more of a course cut with a little broken flake. Tobacco is colored brown with a little black. Moisture is ok, no prep needed. Burns a little slow with few relights. The strength is medium to strong and nic is medium. No flavoring detected. Taste is medium to full and consistent, with notes of Plums, dry earth, wood, cocoa, musty hay, spiced bread, sour lemon grass, spicy herbs, floral, bitter nuts, a mildly sweet background note, and a very peppery retro. Burley is leading with Perique supporting. Oriental/Turkish are supporting to a lesser extent, and the Virginias are there in spirit only. Room note is tolerable, and aftertaste is good....Read More
