Kramer's created this medium-bodied mixture especially for one of their customers, the iconic actor Cary Grant. Using our English Blend as a base, they carefully layer in a small portion of Irish Aromatic for a little more sweetness.

To my palate, this blend hits every mark I expect from a quality pipe tobacco. It is a deeply enjoyable smoke, and I am certainly glad I decided to add it to my rotation.

English Blend with just a little extra

I've been hesitant in trying aromatics; too many overwhelm the tobacco with the topping. But this was an easy toe dip, as I very much enjoy Kramer's English Blend. The addition of some Irish Mist definitely is an enhancement. It melds seamlessly into the blend, adding just a little extra note to an already delightful smoke....Read More

Another delicious Kramer’s blend!

I have been a big fan of Father Dempsey for years now. I wasn’t sure anything could come close or be as enjoyable to smoke. Then I finally got around to trying Cary Grant. WOW. Kramer’s knocks another one out of the park and lucky me, I’ve got another favorite. It lights easily and stays lit as you slowly sip away at it. A charring light, followed by a tamp, followed by one more light was all it needed after 20 minutes of drying time. Then it was only a few tamps for rest of the bowl and it burned down to a white ash. It left my bowl dry and damn near spotless. I love English Blends - mild, medium, strong, you name it, I love them. English aros are no exception and this Cary Grant is a perfect example of what I love in an English aro! Latakia wise, it’s pretty mild. Very all-day kind of smokable. By itself, without the aromatic, it would remind me somewhat of Presbyterian, another mild-medium favorite of mine. That’s a plus. That subtle aromatic though, is so interesting! I’ve gathered that it is cased with Irish Mist liqueur which sounded interesting, but that’s not what I got. I got a surprise. It was very subtle, but I was getting a delicious, mild hot cinnamon candy note on each sip and it lasted throughout the bowl. It was like the flavor of a stick of Big Red gum, but not at all overpowering. More like a nuance. I will definitely be adding more Cary Grant to the cellar, right next to Father Dempsey!...Read More
