Ryan Alden is a talented pipe maker out of Rowlett, Texas. In addition to crafting beautiful, functional tobacco pipes, Ryan comes from a strong art and vocational background, having studied ceramics, sculpting, drawing, painting, horticulture, leatherworking, and wood turning among many other hands-on crafts over the years.
All of his pipes are made from Italian or Algerian briar, occasionally offering morta, strawberry wood, and olivewood pieces as well. Alden is fascinated by natural materials, and he enjoys experimenting with various exotic hardwoods and organic mediums like horn and antler for his accents.
