Chemical Crackle

When I first opened the tin I was excited by an inviting and somewhat fruity aroma. My first bowl was pleasant and I was surprised by an enjoyable crackle as the tobacco burned. The smoke was pleasant and the tobacco burned well but seamed to be a little prone to getting hot. This wasn't a big deal and I just slowed my cadence and had no additional issues. The negative issues started coming up once I was about half way through the tin where the tobacco lost a lot of its fruity aroma and the flavor began to shift to a chemical taste. By the time that I was down to the last couple of bowls I was just about to the point of throwing it away as the chemical taste had made it just about un-smokeable. I can't see myself buying another tin. There are plenty of other options that offer a crackle that don't end up tasting like they were dug out from between bathroom cleaners....Read More

Fragrant & Flavorful

This is some of the best tobacco I've ever had the pleasure of smoking. Opening the tin, you are met with an enticing aroma that smells a lot like high quality tea. Getting a good nose full reveals a complex bouquet that is both savory and sweet. The texture between the fingers was perfect. Not too moist. When loaded, the bowl caught fire readily and a char light was not totally necessary. It smoked clean and even throughout and tasted sweet on the tongue and smelled extremely pleasant when French inhaled. The room note was mild and the nicotine hit was just right. I'll be burning through the first tin rather quickly and will likely be picking up another tin or two. Very happy with this tobacco....Read More

A nice almost tropical fruit tasting blend. Almost a papaya flavor and a touch of burley. I dont know what a star fruit is but I do taste lemon grass and maybe dragon fruit. Room note is very good.

I've never had star fruit before but the aroma and taste of this tobacco is sublime. I haven't smoked aromatics in a while but this is making rethink that. The star fruit flavor is consistent throughout the bowl and you can taste the quality of the Virginia leaf. Star fruit flavor is not overpowering and the tobacco itself isn't goopy.
