An interesting twist on brown irish X.

twist has, or the black irish X has, in the background, but without the rum. Coniston cut plug has something super sweet in it but to the point it is cloying plus flowers, and this reminds me of a very light version of that without the flowery addition, on a stronger tobacco base with more nicotine.
The rough edges are noticeably mitigated as compared to the regular brown irish X, perhaps due to the smaller diameter and how I cut it, which puts this near the top of my preference with the ropes and the room note is quite a bit more pleasant.
Nicotine is a touch more, which might be due to the thinner cut, which is very welcome.
This is a simple no frills, rich sweet smoke (the regular brown ropes are also slightly sweet) which has a satisfying amount of nicotine and is incredibly smooth.
This had a slight bitter note during the first 5 seconds which I haven't tasted in any of the ropes before this (a good sign of nicotine) which was gone entirely afterwards.
This one tastes very good and I really enjoyed it. Extra sweet brown bogie is very repeatable due to how smooth it is.
I found this one to be the best of the unflavored ropes so far and I will cellar a lot of this one....Read More

Tin note is sweet and strong. As always a bit moist so let it dry for 30 minutes. Actually sweet and mild, but strong at the same time. I belive a few years in the cellar will make this a 5 star easily.
