Packed and lit- smooth and calm draws and that fruit flavor takes the center stage. I saw some folks talk about a fig flavor and they’re not wrong. The burley is down in there but it’s the bottom of the flavor vs that fruit bouquet. Halfway through the bowl- no bite to speak of and had to re-light. Bottom of the bowl still packed that flavor evenly and I am impressed!...Read More

It's a damn good blend. It's one of those, 'I don't know what to smoke' blends. I was hoping for more liquorice notes (actually I'm pushed if I can detect any at all), nonetheless, it's nutty and creamy, and the room note is pleasant enough.

t ghosting my pipes in the way that SWR and the more cavendish-reliant blends do.
It is an uncomplicated smoke, as most reviews say, but its aroma is nice and its light topping won't become cloying and doesn't affect the reliable burn rate. I have yet to try Carter Hall, which some have said is better still, but H&H is surely worth keeping around for those times when you will be smoking while thinking about other things and likely to be distracted....Read More

Cool smoking, no bite regardless of how fast I smoke and sometimes that's way too fast.
