About This Pipe Tobacco
Named for the famed winding, twisting street in San Francisco, Lombard starts with a base of Red and Bright Virginias. It is then enhanced with American 'condimental' leaf, including an angel's share of Perique. The G. L. Pease twist in this Lombard? A delicate breath of Cyprus Latakia is added for a whisper of smokiness and a slightly deeper flavor. A gentle introduction to Latakia for the Virginia smoker, or just a delightful change of pace.

the Latakia. Rather I taste the grassiness of Virginia, the spice of the perique and a subtle note of smoke. The Latakia is very much in the background which, for me, is just the ticket. Lombard won't replace the various Virginia blends that I enjoy, but it will be a nice change of pace for me....Read More

I thought I would give this a whirl as I do not like lat. It made me realize even more so that I do not like lat. Take the lat out of this blend and it is quite enjoyable.
