t for the new smoker or the faint of heart. The prominent note here is definitely the black pepper from the Perique, with other sorts of fruitiness, natural honey-like sweetness, and a bit of grass and hay-like qualities. The tin smells of figs and raisins.
The blend burns perfectly, and doesn’t seem to make my pipe too hot. Moisture content is just right for me. The blend is quite strong compared to the other VaPers I love you, but it’s a good strong! This blend has some personality, that’s for sure!

Great VaPer if you love perique

ss, but it does not strike me as black pepper, but rather a baking spice that goes great with the general dark fruit flavors you get. All this is on a base of sweet Virginias, that do not give off any kind of unpleasant barnyard flavors, but perhaps a sweet and pleasant grassy or hay smell. It perhaps is reminiscent of a bourbon, in the sense that it has a hint of vanilla notes and is delectably sweet. I did lose some of the flavor complexity in the bottom third of the bowl, but perhaps that is because it’s so damn humid here in South FL and I’ve had to light it a lot at the bottom. I get no tongue bite so long as I sip it slowly or use the breathe method. It stays lit a long time too, at least in my Peterson 124, which is what I smoked this tobacco in.
