ed me as its often described as spicy. Now, I do like spicy foods, but not so much in my pipe. And, 25% seemed steep. I was happily suprised.
This was amazing! I could not believe how enjoyable the very first bowl was. The flavor I have not nailed down yet, but as far as "Spicy" goes, it was NOT AT ALL what I was expecting.
Not spicy in the heat way, but certinaly crisp to me. A very enjoyable and thoroughly pleasing aroma, as well and a great taste in the mouth.
I had to come on here and order another 8 ounces because this one will be in my rotation.
I'm constantly reminded on how many different expierences I can get from pipe tobacco. It really is a nice hobby that bring a lot of enjoyment.
But, if you are on the fence about trying this because of the Perique-- give it a try. The flavor is nice, the aroma is nice, and all around, it is a fantastic tobacco. I am sure glad I picked it up that day....Read More

This has become one of my staple tobaccos

This is a tobacco that I enjoy more and more as time goes by. This is such a satisfying VaPer blend with the strong perique and great Virginia tobaccos. I like this blend in ribbon and in the flake cut, but both get better with a little drying.

Really good, modified to my liking

Very good Virginia-Perique as advertised. Strong, but not as “knee shaking” as some described. I did find that adding 25-30% Lane BCA turned this into my favorite go to blend. The cavendish just smooths it out a bit and makes an excellent all day blend.

Once I headed down the VA/PER path I eventually came to this wonderful gem and this was the first tobacco that I had to smoke 2 bowls of in a sitting before moving on, very enjoyable blend if you're a fan of va/pers.
